Hartwig Wins 2007 Mukaiyama Award
Professor John Hartwig of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois was recently awarded the 2007 Mukaiyama Awardee by the Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan.
The award is given annually to eminent independent researchers in the area of organic synthesis and synthetic methodology. John will receive the award and give an Awardee Lecture September 8-10, 2008, at the Mt. Aso highlands of Kyushu, Japan.
