Our group is active in four research areas:
- Protein folding on fast timescales
- Control of organic reactions with laser pulses
- Quantum calculations of molecular energy flow and at quantum coherence effects
- Optically enhanced STM spectroscopy of silicon surfaces
Opportunities for learning include: computational theory and programming, genetic engineering, laser technology, ultra high vacuum technology, spectroscopy (nonlinear, fluorescence, circular dichroism, etc.) and other state-of-the-art chemistry tools.
