Find a Private Chemistry Tutor

If you are looking for regularly scheduled, one-on-one help, the CLC has partnered with Tutor Matching Service to help link private chemistry tutors to students seeking help.

  • Use TMS to Find a Private Chemistry Tutor
Visit Tutor Matching Service at Illinois to find a list of fellow Illinois students interested in tutoring. Create an account that allows you to message tutors and schedule sessions. All payment is handled through TMS, eliminating the need to carry cash or pay in person. Please note that the CLC does not verify the credentials of TMS tutors.
  • Become a Private Chemistry Tutor
Interested in tutoring chemistry at the University of Illinois? Use Tutor Matching Service to set up your own private tutoring account. You will need a valid University of Illinois email address to complete the application. If you need assistance, contact TMS Help.

**Note: Tutor Matching Service has been acquired by a new company, Littera Education.  Littera intends on ending all TMS services on June 30th.  The CLC is working hard to find a replacement for TMS; check here for updates!

ACS Student Affiliates

Members of the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates also provide free assistance for students taking chemistry courses at the University of Illinois.
