The Department of Chemistry hosted a networking reception on Aug. 13, 2023, in conjunction with the ACS National Meeting in San Francisco. The event was open to all Chemistry at UIUC alumni and friends in the area as well as current faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. Professor Cathy Murphy, Department Head and Larry R. Faulkner Endowed Chair in Chemistry, addressed the crowd during the event, updating everyone on department news and highlights.
