The Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois is pleased to announce the hiring of four new faculty members for the 2012-13 academic year.

Dr. Kami Hull will be joining the organic chemistry area as an Assistant Professor. She is currently at Stanford University in the Trost Research Group.

Also from Stanford University, Dr. Richard Perry will be joining the analytical chemistry area as an Assistant Professor. He currently serves a postdoctoral scholar in the Zare Lab.

Dr. Joaquín Rodríguez-López will also be joining the analytical area. Dr. Rodríguez-López is currently based in the Abruña lab at Cornell University.

Dr. Alison Fout will be joining the inorganic area. Dr. Fout, who received her Ph.D. from Indiana University, is currently a postdoc in the Betley Lab at Harvard University.
