The University of Illinois chapter will receive the 2015 Graduate Chapter of the Year Award. There are 115 SACNAS student chapters nationwide.

SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to the success of college students and professionals from Hispanic/Chicano and Native American backgrounds. Including individual chapters, the organization serves over 25,000 students and professionals each year with its conference and year-round programing focused on advancing members’ education, career growth and providing leadership opportunities.
