Paul Hergenrother has won the Sosnovsky Award for Cancer Research

Paul Hergenrother has won the Sosnovsky Award for Cancer Research, one of the National Awards of the American Chemical Society.

The award recognizes his long-standing leadership in the development of anti-cancer drugs, and especially the discovery of the first procaspase-activating compound, PAC-1. His work takes cancer treatment into the realm of personalized medicine.
