Professor Josh Vura-Weis was recently selected as the winner of the 2019 Inter-American Photochemical Society (I-APS) Young Investigator Award, sponsored by the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology, which is published by Elsevier.

The I-APS Young Investigator Award was established in 2002 to recognize outstanding photoscientific contributions by Society members who have held an independent research position for no more than five years at the time of application.

Professor Vura-Weis will present an award lecture at the Society’s 29^th Winter Conference in Sarasota, Florida, in January of 2020.
