Two PhD graduates in the Department of Chemistry were awarded the 2024 Theron Standish Piper Award for outstanding thesis work in inorganic chemistry.
Chi-Herng "Daniel" Hu, advised by Prof. Liviu Mirica, and Joe Lastowski, advised by Prof. Greg Girolami, presented their individual thesis work during a special lecture in May and both received their 2024 TS Piper awards.
