Nuzzo Selected as 2007 AVS Fellow

Professor Ralph Nuzzo of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois was recently selected as a 2007 Fellow of AVS.

Nuzzo received the award in Seattle on October 17, 2007 at the AVS Awards Assembly held during the AVS 54th International Symposium. The award citation reads: "For dis-covery, characterization, and development of self-assembled monolayers, materials that have revolutionized surface science by extending it to organic and biological materials, atmospheric pressure, and contact with water."
