Bill thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years. He was an avid Philadelphia and Univ. of Delaware sports fan, attended many classes, and loved to play tennis. He enjoyed several hobbies and collecting and especially enjoyed meeting with his friends from DuPont and Pennsbury Antique Mall. He had a love for animals, especially the many cats throughout his life, and enjoyed watching birds and other wild life that frequented his yard.

Bill is survived by his wife Nina; his son Greg and his wife Heidi and their two daughters Kate and Lauren in Atlanta GA; and his son Bob and his wife Jessica now in Qatar in the Middle East. He is also survived by three sisters Marilyn Johnson, Cinda Foglesong and Kathy Conner.

Bill was a wonderful husband and father and was devoted to his sons and their many activities as they grew up, especially their swimming. In later years his two granddaughters have been the joy of his life.
