The American Chemical Society's Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry has chosen Professor Prashant K. Jain to receive the 2013 Unilever Award for Outstanding Young Investigator in Colloid and Surfactant Science.
The purpose of this award is to recognize and encourage fundamental work in colloid and/or surfactant science carried out in North America by researchers in the early stages of their careers. Professor Jain will be presented with this award at the 87th annual ACS Colloid and Surface Science Symposium to be held 23-26 June 2013 at the University of California-Riverside. The award consists of $3,000 and a plaque, plus $1,000 for travel expenses to and from the University of California-Riverside where Professor Jain will lecture on his research.
