Department Faculty Recipients of NSF Physics Frontiers Center Grant

Chemistry faculty and affiliates, including Zan Luthey-Schulten, Klaus Schulten, Martin Gruebele, and Taekjip Ha, are part of group grant proposal that has been recommended for funding by the NSF's Physics Frontiers Centers. This is a renewal of an exisiting grant, though an in-person grant defense was required in Washington D.C.

According to Prof. Luthey-Schulten, "Our Physics Frontiers Center receives additional support from the NSF Biology and Chemistry Divisions, and the Center for the Physics of Living Cells provides supports students and postdocs for both Professor Martin Gruebele and me."
