Michael J. Sofia receives a 2017 College of LAS Alumni Achievement Award

Michael Sofia (PhD, '84 chemistry, Katzenellenbogen) has received a 2017 College of LAS Alumni Achievement Award for discovering the cure to Hepatitis C. He will be honored this weekend during the University of Illinois homecoming festivities.

Dr. Sofia will hold a lecture at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 27 in 1024 Chem Annex, with a reception immediately following. The event is free and open to the public. More information can be found here.
