Martin Gruebele receives 2018 TREE award

Department head Martin Gruebele, the James R. Eiszner Endowed Chair in Chemistry, has received a 2018 TREE award from the Research Corporation for Science Advancement (RCSA).

TREE (Transformational Research and Excellence in Education) awards “recognize the outstanding research and educational accomplishments of the community of Cottrell Scholars,” said RCSA senior program director Silvia Ronco, and “serve to encourage the improvement of science education at American universities and colleges.”

Gruebele was named a Cottrell Scholar in 1995.
