Women Chemists Committee and Younger Chemists Committee receive awards from American Chemical Society

The East Central Illinois (ECI) chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) received the following from the ACS:

Dear ECI members,

The ECI-ACS local section was honored to receive two ChemLuminary awards at the 256th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society held in Boston, Massachusetts. The first award was for Best Overall WCC Local Section for the outstanding efforts of the Women Chemists Committee at the University of Illinois. The second award was for Outstanding Local Section Younger Chemists Committee. Congratulations to all local members of the WCC and YCC who helped contribute to the outstanding programming of these two committees during the 2017 calendar year!
