E.J. Corey featured in News-Gazette series on the U of I

Nobel Laureate E.J. Corey, who served on the U of I chemistry faculty from 1951 to 1959, was recently featured in a special News-Gazette series, “University of Illinois: 150 Years and Beyond.”

Corey won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1990, and his numerous other accolades include the National Medal of Science (1988) and the American Chemical Society’s Priestley Medal (2004). Corey is the Sheldon Emory Professor Emeritus at Harvard University.
