Megan Kats, chemistry undergraduate, was awarded Cabot Microelectronic's Global Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Excellence Award. This is a global award given to a handful of employees at each site every year at Cabot Microelectronics. Cabot Microelectronics has 20 locations world wide with their global headquarters being located in Aurora, Illinois. Kats, who was an intern at the Aurora location, was the first intern to receive the award. There were a total of four employees who received the award at the Aurora site.
