Christian Ray honored with Campus Awards for Excellence in Instruction

Faculty and staff members and graduate teaching assistants at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign were recently honored for excellence in teaching, mentoring and advising, collectively known as the Campus Awards for Excellence in Instruction.

Christian Ray, teaching professor of chemistry, received the Illinois Student Government Teaching Excellence Award. The honor recognizes instructors for outstanding performance both in and out of the classroom and for demonstrating a commitment to teaching and to students in every capacity of their experience at Illinois.
