North entrance:
- From I-72, take exit 164, Monticello Bridge Street. From exit ramp, turn south toward Monticello. Turn right (west) at first intersection, Old Route 47.
- Go 2 miles, turn left on County Road 625 East. Watch for the sign along Old Route 47 indicating turn.
- Go 1 mile to stop, turn right (west) onto County Farm Road.
- Go 1/2 mile to first corner, turn left into Allerton Park entrance through brick columns. Go slowly (rough road), following signs to main parking lot for Conference Center or Visitor Center.
Main entrance (scenic route):
- From I-72, take Exit 166 (Market Street, RT 105)
- Drive 2.25 miles through Monticello, turn right on Marion St.
- Take Marion St. until it ends (.33mi), turn left on Allerton Rd.
- Take Allerton Rd 3.3 miles, turn right at the directional sign into Allerton Park and Retreat Center.
- Drive slowly (25 MPH limit), following signs to main parking lot for Conference Center or Visitor Center.
