Becoming a Chemistry Diversity Advocates requires individuals to have taken training in cultural competency as well as a commitment to promote awareness, and appreciation of diversity in the chemistry department.

  • serve as role models, mentors, and have a strong commitment to supporting a culture that values diversity and fosters inclusion in chemistry.

  • A diversity advocate can be faculty or staff in the chemistry department
